No regrets, they don't work

*i will be extremely suprised if any of you get this song/artist*

my life!
so today, i left urraco and some guy walks up to me as i'm about to get into my car and he says, "hey, do you want to hang out with me? later?"
my surprised and completely confused answer- "no, i can't." as i hastily got into the car.
what? why? people are crazy.
and yesterday, i was talking to becky while she was roasting and roy comes in. he decides he needs to start a conversation with me which lasted for what felt like an eternity. (with no help from becky. jerk!) during this conversation, that mostly consisted of him talking and me answering ya or uh-huh, he talked about how becky is identical to the girl in buffy the vampire slayer. he then proceeded to tell me about a lady that he saw once that looked exactly like madonna. he talked about random bands and people that were coming to seattle that he really wanted to see, but he didn't have a ride there. i think since i had to tell him once that i couldn't give him a ride, he refrained from asking me for a ride to tacoma to see some band that is apparently exactly like led zepplin.
many thanks to becky (who was standing there the whole time without saying a word), marianne (who walked by and laughed at me), and sue (who kept peeking around the counter). you guys are true friends.

um, i think that this is a totally slanted account for what really happened.
1. becky was roasting and couldn't really hear.
2. i was laughing.. ok ,that didn't help my point.
3.. ahh, sue and i were working so we couldn't go over and help you out. it was busy if i recall!
4. uh, about the guy in the parking lot though.. weird. i hate stuff like that too. it always catches me so off guard i just kinda sputter around and blurble something about being busy..
anyway, yeah. my thoughts.

so what if becky couldn't hear. she made eye contact and she could easily have found something to say or ask me.
the same goes for you and sue. you could have called me over without even needing to leave the counter. or you could have told me to change the cd or something!
you guys are not cool.

and justin- major cheater.
googling is not allowed.

i had the brilliant idea that i was going to google the lyrics so i could win...i need lauree/jesus points. :) then i saw justin already got it. not sure if he cheated or not.
was the boy hitting on you or just a weirdo? either way i understand the awkwardness.

lauree...you missed your PRIME opportunity to use the popular phrase (to the stranger, not roy):
"hey big daddy"
that's all i'm saying.

i had no idea what the song was. The trick to talking to Roy when everyone else is avoiding it like the plague: Act really interested and like you're enjoying the convo because that usually makes everyone else shut up/get jealous that you can have such a good convo with Roy. really. it works (the jealous part, not so sure, but the shut up part, works like a charm)

i read your title and totally forgot you started using song titles as part of the bog title (did i just use the title 3 times in that sentence?) oh dear.
anyway (there is NO "S" in anyway by the way)... Lauree Darling, you must give me at least 1/2 a "lauree point" for being ever so close to remembering (refer back to our conversation about this blog and justin's SHAMELESS cheat-to-win philosophy)
if you give me that 1/2 point, then that will give you at least 1/2 a Jesus point (i can't do Jesus in lower case...it's just wrong) but don't do it with pride or you won't get the point.
this is a PRIME opportunity to do the right thing.

I see by reading your blogs that like me, inquiring minds want to know! I always wonder about peculiar words, sayings, questions ie where are all these people on the road going at this time of day? Hmmm...

Just wanted to tell you it was so much fun having you at the retreat last weekend. Thanks for running the music and computer to aid in our worship time together. I enjoyed seeing you and your mom have a good time together as well as the other moms and daughters there.

Took me a long time to find your page! Things are very slow out here in the woods on dial-up!

I don't know where this Bible Study Sisters name came from. This is my FIRST time leaving a comment on a my space blog! What a newbyy

ok...i see a bit of poo flinging has gone on about me in this post.
1. yes...i left you with roy...and i was greatly amused by it all.
2. i did this because i was roasting...and i can't really carry on a convo with anybody that well while i'm doing that.
3. i had already had a long convo with roy that morning.
4. let it be known that i actually anjoy a good conversation with roy. he's quite entertaining. and deep down a nice guy. (you should see him try and take care of jason berekman. heartwarming is the only way to descrine it.)
5. when he comes in singing in the morning...it makes my day. :)

that is all.
